Inspiration

The Italian island of Capri is located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, very close to Naples and in the south of the country. In the early 19th century, English troops transformed the island into a powerful naval base and in the mid-century, after being returned to the house of Bourbon, it became a popular holiday destination for European artists.
